No it’s not made with cheese, but the sheep and sheep herders of the region love to eat these grapes right off of the vine. It’s Pecorino, a grape that almost went extinct, but made a huge comeback in the 1990’s. From the highly acclaimed Cantina Frentana cooperative and made with certified organic grapes, this is a great summer quaff. Medium bodied, fresh, zesty and herbaceous, it is perfect for summer parties, beach and poolside drinking, or grilled fish and vegetables.
