The Root: 1 wines are produced by Chile's Vina Ventisquero, and they offer great value for money. Their Sauvignon Blanc is produced with grapes from the cooler, coastal-influenced Casablanca Valley.
Stylistically, this is very reminiscent of a Marlborough, New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Crisp, lively, and refreshing, it offers up aromas and flavors of grapefruit, lime, citrus zest, herb, and light mineral. All in all, it's a great wine for the money!
