R. Dutoit Pouilly-Fuissé Les Vieilles Vignes

Since 1983, the Dutoit family's wines from the Pouilly-Fuissé region have graced the shelves at smaller, indie wine shops like Table Wine. All of their vines are old, but the family is incredibly meticulous about when they'll actually apply the Pouilly-Fuisse name to their various bottlings.

This old vine 100% Chardonnay from Pouilly-Fuisse in Burgundy has an inviting nose of white-fleshed fruits and honey. The palate is lively on the attack with aromas of pear and white peach. The finish is pretty and harmonious. Serve as an aperitif and also makes the perfect match for fish or seafood as well as white meat and pasta in a creamy sauce.
