Owned and operated by the Ruffino family (no direct relation to the Tuscan behemoth) for over 500 years, this is one of the top estates of Liguria. As one might expect, the sunny and warm position of this coastal region is ideal for the production of fresh, clean, and pure white wines.
One of the family's specialties if Lumassina, a grape that only grows in the Riviera Ligure di Ponente, exactly where the Ruffino family's vineyards are located. This rare variety produces wines that are light in body, but big in flavor and charm. Exhibiting notes of sunny lemon, green apple, maritime mineral, and light herb, it's the perfect white to enjoy with all sorts of seafood.
