From the great team at the Brack Mountain Wine Company, this is Table Wine's answer to Rombauer Chardonnay. When we started seeing Rombauer in Walmart, Target, and other big box stores, we knew it was time to say goodbye to that brand. Even better, when we tasted the Matias Chardonnay, which comes from the same Carneros AVA as Rombauer, we knew we'd found a worthy successor.
Just 300 cases were produced and winemaking is handled by Dan Fitzgerald, who trained at Williams Selyem. Barrel fermented, rich, and very pleasing to the palate, it offers up stunning notes of caramelized pineapple, spiced apple, brioche, vanilla, and baking spices. Check out the price.....
