The Cunat Family have some primely placed vineyards in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. Located less than 2 miles east of Trefethen, this cooler zone in the southern part of the valley gives us wonderfully balanced and nuanced Chardonnays that combine richness with raciness.
The family's Materra Chardonnay is in very fine form in the 2022 vintage. With richer notes of pineapple, lemon curd, and spice buttressed by higher-toned nuances of citrus zest, nectarine, and mineral, it's a California Chardonnay that will appeal to lots of palates.
