Marchiori & Barraud Cabernet Sauvignon

Andrea Marchiori and Luis Barraud are two of Argentina's most respected winemakers. Both come from families with a long history of winemaking traditions, and both pursued advanced degrees at UC-Davis before returning to Mendoza. After years of working with Paul Hobbs at Vina Cobos, the duo are now making their own wines from the prestigious Marchiori Vineyard, one of the most acclaimed in all of Argentina.

The Marchiori and Barraud Cabernet Sauvignon serves as a great value for the varietal. Dark, complex, and intense. Look for dark fruits like black cherry and blackberry, and secondary and tertiary notes of star anise, mint, and pepper.
