Domaine du Prieuré is a family-run estate in Burgundy, now in its third generation under husband and wife Stephen and Lucie Maurice. Under their watch, the estate attained organic certification, and the wines have never been better. Their Crémant de Bourgogne offers the kind of quality and character that has made this producer a favorite among Burgundy lovers.
A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this traditional-method sparkling wine spends 24 months aging on the lees, developing added complexity, texture, and finesse. Aromas and flavors of ripe pear, apple, lemon curd, a hint of cherry, almond, and brioche are complemented by a fine, elegant mousse and subtle mineral notes.
