The Autran family (Jean-Marc, Sophie, and Maude) craft one of the freshest and most soulful Cotes du Rhone we stock. This fifth-generation, family-run estate is based in Sablet, just north of Gigondas, and their wine is one of the more elegant and pretty versions out there.
A field blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, Carignan, Cinsault, and Counoise, it delivers bright notes of red berries, white pepper, and savory herbs, backed by silky tannins and juicy acidity. This is an easy one to drink any night of the week, and it plays nicely with just about anything you want to put on the table.
