The Le Fontane Sabbie Rosse is a blend of 70% Frappato and 30% Nero d'Avola raised in uncoated concrete tanks for 8-10 months and a further 1-2 months before release. A beautiful, perfumed, and juicy wine. Red fruited with gorgeous notes of wild raspberry, dried strawberry, and a compelling cherry candy. Well integrated and not exactly secondary notes of candied violets, rose water, dried herbs, and dusty mineral keep this wine both cerebral and pleasantly enjoyable.
