From the Languedoc region of France, this falls somewhere between a polished Mendoza Malbec and a heartier, earthier version from Cahors, in SW France. Ripe and generous, it offers up notes of black cherry, plum, damp earth, and spice. Silky and smooth, it's a great all-purpose red for all occasions.
