Isle Saint-Pierre Rouge comes from a small island in the Rhone River, just south of Arles in the Camargue. Run by fourth-generation vigneron Julien Henry, the estate farms sustainably on deep, well-draining soils of sand and silt. The proximity to the water keeps the vineyards cool, giving this southern French red a surprising amount of freshness.
A lively, easy-drinking bistro wine made from Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Carmenere, and Arinarnoa. Fresh, juicy, and vibrant, with plenty of fruit and a clean finish. This is exactly the kind of everyday red we love to have around for burgers, pizza, roast chicken, or a simple plate of charcuterie.
