Josko Gravner is a master of amphorae-fermented, long-aged, orange wines, and his Ribolla Gialla is an icon in that category. Made naturally with little or no intervention, Gravner's wines amaze us for their soulful, traditional, and complex personalities.

The cool and slow fermentation and the long aging yields a wine of tremendous nuance and presence. The aromas and flavors are savory, layered, and unique, but they are ultimately compelling and delicious. Those in the know are aware that there's never much of this available, and we were lucky to get a 6-bottle allocation. That's it...
