Classic Cabernet aromatics of black currant, Bing cherry, and ripe raspberry followed by subtle notes of dark chocolate, rose hips, beechwood, vanilla bean, thyme and turkish spices. This wine definitely leans more towards elegant than powerful. On the palate it has silky approachable tannins with firm acidity carrying the mid palate. The finish is long but soft and approachable.
High-toned and fresh. So aromatic. Red fruit - cranberry, cassis, raspberry. Black and green olive. A bit of Italian Ragu? Pencil lead, gravel. Notes of spice, red and purple flowers, with some vanilla oak. More fruit on the palate than earth to start. Firm tannin. Dusty. Dark chocolate. Coffee - a proper espresso martini. Green pepper and herbs. Quintessential Cabernet Sauvignon. Extreme length.
