Fento Albarino

Fento Wines are made with sustainably farmed grapes from micro vineyards spotted throughout the Condado de Tea sub zone of Rías Baixas. Prestigious winemaker Eulogio Pomares of Bodegas Zarate and his wife Rebeca Montero were both raised with vineyards for playgrounds and have spent their entire lives immersed in the industry of viticulture and winemaking.

Fento is a little side project of theirs, and it's a quite "advanced" rendition of Albarino, one of of Spain's most important native whites. Produced from dry-farmed, organic sites in the driest and warmest subzone of Rias Baixas, this is succulent, aromatic, and loaded with ripe stone fruits, melon, white flowers, and wet stone. Great texture here too!
