DuMOL has long been one of Sonoma’s benchmark producers, crafting wines that combine classic California richness with remarkable balance, energy, and site transparency. Their Isobel Chardonnay stands as one of the estate’s most coveted bottlings, sourced entirely from the famed Charles Heintz Vineyard near Occidental. Widely regarded as one of California’s truly great Chardonnay sites, this cool-climate vineyard is home to some of Sonoma County’s oldest Chardonnay vines. Strong Pacific influence, old vine material, and meticulous farming yield fruit of tremendous concentration, complexity, and natural acidity.

The 2023 Isobel Chardonnay was crafted with DuMOL’s signature attention to detail, resulting in a wine of immense depth and precision. Rich and wonderfully layered, it offers up soaring aromas and flavors of lime zest, pear, nectarine, pineapple, preserved lemon, sea spray, and subtle coastal herbs. Deep and oily on the palate, the wine remains incredibly focused and energetic thanks to its bright, electric acidity.
