Domaine Thierry Drouin is based in the Maconnais of Burgundy, and have been since being established in 1981 by Thierry Drouin. Now he and his son, Charles, work to produce wines from multiple areas within the Macon, including Pouilly-Fuisse and St. Veran.
Their 'Plaisance' Bourgogne Blanc is a rich, ripe, golden, and inviting pleasant bottle of Chardonnay. Golden apple, yellow plum, white peach, pineapple, and Meyer lemon show themselves along with honey and white flowers in this example of why the Macon is a great place for value priced white Burgundy!
