One of the rising stars of the Southern Rhone, Domaine Les Aphillanthes is run by the very capable farmer and vigneron Daniel Boulle. He works with old vines, uses no chemicals (certified organic and biodynamic), and his dry rose is also a staff and customer favorite.
Primarily Cinsault (50%), one of the great dry rose grapes, it also sees the addition of 35% Grenache, 7% Mourvedre, and 3% Counoise. The finished wine is always broad and fleshy yet fragrant and fresh. Offering up gorgeous notes of red berries, orange zest, and honeysuckle, this smoothly plays richness of delicacy and finishes long and satisfying.
