For generations, the Schaller family grew grapes in Chablis and sold them to the local cooperative. That changed when Camille Schaller graduated from enology school in 2013 and convinced his father, Laurent, to begin estate bottling. Since then, the domaine has earned organic certification and established itself as one of Chablis' most exciting young producers, crafting pure, terroir-driven wines from estate-grown fruit.

Petit Chablis is a separate appellation within the Chablis region, with vineyards planted on the higher slopes and plateaus surrounding the village. The wines are typically a bit lighter and more approachable than classic Chablis while retaining the region's signature freshness and minerality. Schaller's version overdelivers, offering vibrant aromas and flavors of crunchy green apple, lemon, white flowers, and crushed rock, all wrapped around a bright, energetic palate with a long, chalky finish.
