The young Vincent Roussely is the 4th generation of his family to grow grapes and make wines from the limestone-rich soils of Touraine. Upon taking over the estate in 2001, Vincent immediately converted all the vineyards over to organics, and today, the estate's wines are better than ever.
His L'Escale Sauvignon Blanc is a classic rendition of Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc that sees fermentation and aging on the lees in stainless steel. The resulting wine is ripe and fleshy yet zingy and mouthwatering. Gorgeous notes of ripe lemon, pineapple, grapefruit zest, and savory herbs inform the nose and palate of this lovely white.
