Château Phélan Ségur sits amongst some great neighbors in the commune of Saint-Estéphe, on Bordeaux's Left Bank. Calon-Sègur and Montrose border their vineyards, and this blend of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot came out beautifully in the 2020 vintage.
Classically structured and layered with fruits of red plum, redcurrant, cassis, and black raspberry. This full-bodied wine also showcases classic savory notes of cedar, tree bark, mushroom, and cigar wrapper, with purple flowers making up the floral profile.
