Michele Ruelle quietly makes sophisticated and lovely Champagnes from his vineyards in Moussy, a charming village that straddles the Vallée de la Marne and the Côte des Blancs. His 2012 masterpiece of a Vintage Champagne comes from one of the top declared vintages of the 21st century, and it's a ton of bubbly for the money.
100% Chardonnay from the family’s grand cru vineyards in Chouilly, Oiry and Cramant, this one is disgorged to order. Heady and complex, this offers up notes of ripe citrus and orchard fruits along with suave floral and mineral notes. Full-bodied, super fine, and ridiculously low in price, this will not last long.
