Romain Guiberteau is one of the leading figures and winemakers in France's Loire Valley. After abandoning his law studies, he returned to his family's estate in Saumur, made his first wine under the tutelage of Nady Foucault of Clos Rougeard fame, and he continue to craft some of the region's most sought-after wines.

The 2024 vintage sees the debut of the Chai de la Dive wines, a joint venture between Romain, Brendan Stater West, Romain's daughter Camille and her partner, Alex Crochet. The wines are produced with estate-grown and purchased fruit, but all of the grapes come from certified organic vineyards.

The Blanc is 100% Chenin Blanc fermented with native yeasts to complete dryness. It is a fabulous taste of bone-dry, electric, and highly expressive Chenin Blanc from one of the best winemaking teams in the Loire. Beautiful aromas of green pear, green apple, bright citrus, and chalky minerality lead into a zesty and live-wire palate that will get the juices flowing.
