'Bright violet. Oak-spiced dark berries, licorice and mocha on the nose; a smoky nuance emerges with air. Broad, sweet and well-concentrated, offering cherry-vanilla, cola and blackberry flavors that show no rough edges. Closes with repeating oak-spice character and strong tenacity and supple tannins lending grip. There's a lot of oak here but there's plenty of fruit as well.
