The Terravignata Verdicchio di Matelica is a deeply layered expression of the grape that balances its fuller body with electric acidity. Underneath the bright and ripe lemon, pear, and apple fruit is a core of complex and salty minerality. Tasted blind, I might have called this bone dry and lively white as a top-level Muscadet.
