Bodegas Muga Rioja Rosado

Although Bodegas Muga is famous for their savory reds, they also make this delightful dry rose from a selection of cooler, higher elevation vineyards. The grapes are hand harvested and cold fermented to preserve freshness and aromatics. Once pressed, the juice is separated from the skins after just 5 hours which yields a pale, delicately flavored wine. On the palate it's brisk and refreshing with notes of wild strawberries, stone fruits, citrus, rose petals and wet stone.  Brilliant with tapas, ceviche or a plate of fresh fruits and young cheeses.
