Bodegas Muga Rioja Crianza 'El Anden de la Estacion'
Regular price $25.99Bodegas Muga is undoubtedly one of the premiered estates in Rioja. Founded in 1932, the winery is located in Haro, and everything the estate makes is steeped in tradition, but Muga also embraces the latest advances in winemaking. For the true lover of Rioja, their wines are must-tries!
Their El Anden de la Estacion is the estate's fairly new Crianza bottling, and we sold a ton of this one last year, and for good reason. It's a stellar example of Rioja that offers up some of the more complex stylings of a Riserva combined with the juicier character one would expect from a Crianza. A blend of 70% Tempranillo and 30% Garnacha aged for 14 months in French and American oak, it is a very enjoyable glass of wine.
Juicy yet complex, easy-to-drink yet refined, and both a great introduction to Rioja and one that will appeal to Rioja veterans, we can't recommend it highly enough.
