A branch of Gil Family Estates, Bodegas Morca produces varietal Grenache wines in Aragón, the birthplace of Grenache. Produced from 50+ year-old Garnacha vines planted on the slopes of the Moncayo mountain range, this is aged for 15 months in French oak.
The finished wine is large and in charge and will appeal to those who love the wines from Alto Moncayo. Dense, rich, and decadent, it offers up notes of strawberry jam, blueberry liqueur, vanilla bean, and toast. Smooth and supple on the palate, it's a hedonistic delight.
