One of the most tantalizing dry roses we get each year is this lovely wine from the Basque region of Spain. It is a wine that has developed a cult following at the store, and in a good year, we'll get 6 to 10 cases.
Produced from two indigenous Basque grapes, this is tart, very high-toned, and spritzy. Zesty notes of strawberry, kiwi, citrus zest, and salty mineral are all abundant in this bone dry pink wine. Enjoy with shellfish, tapas, or other lighter fare....or no food at all.
