The fine folks at Duckhorn have "set up shop" in Washington's Columbia Valley, and their Greenwing Cab is terrific. Showing a nobility rarely encountered at this price point, it's for the Cab lover who loves Bordeaux and more restrained and elegant Cabs.
Showcasing ripe and energetic flavors of plum, cherry, wild strawberry, eucalyptus, and herb, it's a medium-bodied effort with a solid backbone of tannin and acidity. There's something very attractive about this old-school-styled Cab.
