Babylonstoren Babel

Babylonstoren is one of the oldest working Cape Dutch farms in the Winelands region. The estate is positioned around a sprawling garden, inspired by the historic Company’s Garden in Cape Town. In recent years, Babylonstoren has become a renowned establishment in the vibrant Boland region. The farm’s garden is known for its diverse and expansive botanical collections. 

Their 'Babel' bottling is a blend of several varietals, with the largest amounts being of Shiraz and Pinotage. Full bodied, lush, decadent, and smooth. Look for dark fruits of mulberry, dark cherry, and plum, followed by pencil shavings, cedar, sweet tobacco, and baking chocolate. A perfect red for a more value priced South African option from a well known producer.
