Regular price $29.99In August 2014, acclaimed Burgundy producer Philippe Colin (also one of the guardians of the famous Colin-Deleger vineyard in Chassagne Montrachet) and his business partner became enchanted with the 64 hectare farm, and purchased the estate. Philippe is the winemaking partner, and his business partner, Serge Jaczynski, is a sommelier from Southern France who counts Michelin 3 star restaurants and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie among his clients. Ooh la la!
The wine is very classy, and you can sense Philippe's Burgundian personality from the first sniff to the last sip. 'Top notes of clove, allspice and frankincense dance in the bouquet of this light gold pour, with notes of pie crust, baked apple and spiced orange at the core. The medium-weight palate offers similarly rich and toasty flavors as the nose put forth, but with a kiss of salinity that hangs on through the finish.' - Wine Enthusiast
