For fans of La Crema, give this much smaller production wine a try. Crafted by Jamey Whetstone, who trained under Ehren Jordan at Turley for several years, it is composed of grapes from cooler climate, coastal-influenced sites in Monterey County.
Aged in French oak (20% new), it offers up gorgeous aromas of Meyer lemon, buttered citrus, and golden apple on the nose. The palate is simultaneously fresh and ripe, with a long and clean finish. Mild oak spice lingers....
