From the original producer of Bourbon barrel-aged red wine, Southern Belle is the creation of importer Dan Phillips of the Grateful Palate. This 100% Syrah-based red comes from vineyards in the Campo de Borja, and it is aged in Pappy van Winkle barrels.
The finished wine is quite large and in charge. Ripe and decadent notes of blueberry pie, spice box, plum pudding, and spicy, toasty oak notes make this the ideal wine for the lover of big, opulent, New World reds.
