Brachetto is one of Italy’s great dessert wines, and it is produced in Acqui in Italy’s Piemonte zone. Awarded DOCG status in 1996, it is absolutely delicious. Low in alcohol, a bit fizzy, overtly sweet, and flowing with aromas and flavors of cherry, raspberry, strawberry and rose petal, this is one to enjoy with dark chocolate.
