Sandro Fay Valtellina Superiore 'Il Glicine'

Sandro Fay sustainably farms 14 hectares in the Valtellina region of Lombardy. Their vineyards are placed throughout the terraced hillsides rising up to the Alps. The Nebbiolos of Sandro Fay are most notably differentiated by the effects of altitude and exposure for each of the parcels. The vineyard called Il Glicine extends over 1 hectare in the Sassella sub-zone at 350 metres, in the commune of Sondrio.

It showcases the ethereal, elegant, and very pretty side of Nebbiolo while still possessing great structure and age-worthiness. Flowing with gorgeous notes of red and dark berries, rose petal, mineral, and earth. Very perfumed, very fine!
