Sandhi was founded by Rajat Parr and Sashi Moorman with a focus on expressing the cool-climate vineyards of Santa Barbara County. Working in the ocean-influenced Sta. Rita Hills, they make Chardonnay with an emphasis on freshness, minerality, and a true sense of place. Their 2023 vintage is a terrific example of California Chardonnay done right.
Bright and focused, with lemon zest, green apple, flinty minerality, and a mouthwatering saline finish. There’s lovely texture here, but the wine never loses its freshness or precision. A beautiful bottle for roast chicken, seafood, or simply enjoying on its own.
