Alessandro Prandi produces up to 2000 cases exclusively from their small family farm in the historic town of Diano d'Alba. It's amazing that their wines make it to the US, but we are blessed that they do. The family practices organics, ferments with native yeasts, and make their wines using minimal intervention.
Just 400 cases of their Barbera d'Alba were produced in 2020, and the wine is bottles with little to no fining or filtration. Boasting good concentration matched with freshness along with captivating aromatics and flavors of violet, plum, blueberry, and dark cherry. It's all about purity and total drinkability in this classic Piemonte red.
