Poderi dal Nespoli Campodora Albana Secco

Campodora is a terrific introduction to Albana, an indigenous grape from Romagna that was the first Italian white grape to receive DOCG status. Poderi dal Nespoli has been making wine from the native grapes of Emilia-Romagna since 1929, and their vines in the hills of the Bidente Valley benefit from hot days and cool nights, helping preserve freshness and aromatic intensity.

This is anything but a simple, lightweight Italian white. It's fresh, flavorful, and nicely textured, with prolific aromas and flavors of peach, pineapple, apricot, and jasmine. There's a touch of richness on the palate, balanced by lively acidity that keeps the wine fresh and makes it a terrific companion for seafood, white meats, or simply drinking on its own.
