Charlotte native Becca Wright started Piedmont Pennies as an MBA class project to help the world "Stay Cheesin" during COVID-19. Becca's Grandbetty enhanced a southern cheese straw recipe, making it irresistibly crunchy and delightfully spicy. Growing up, Becca's Dad taught her how to 'pinch Pennies' for holiday gifts.
Today, Becca's Pennies sell in 20 states, and they are the perfect snack to have on hand to enjoy with wine, while you're watching sports, or when you just need a burst of cheesy goodness. They are delicious, and we are proud to be supporting another small NC business!
