Dieter Solva is the winemaker behind this Schiava (aka Vernatsch/Trollinger) coming from Niklas Weingut. It sees a five day maceration, making it pale-colored in the glass. Light-bodied, aromatic, and alpine in character, as it is indeed coming from the Alto-Adige region of Northern Italy. Sour cherry, wild strawberry, and pomegranate are accompanied by pressed flowers, mountain herb, and blood orange.
