Matt Meyer continues his father Justin's legacy of producing world-class, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons. Justin was the original winemaker at Silver Oak, and their original source for Cabernet was from Bonny's Vineyard, a heritage site in Oakville. For this bottling, Matt ages the wine in French oak for 36 months, yielding a sophisticated Cab with layers of excellence.
'A wine that exhibits the same velvety smooth palate of blackberry, ripe currant, huckleberry, and cardamom, along with a hint of eucalyptus, that we know and love. The three years in French oak add aromas of nutmeg, cedar, tobacco, and a little caramel on the finish.' - Winemaker Notes
