Sourced entirely from estate-grown fruit in Washington's Horse Heaven Hills, Red Mountain, and Royal Slope, the wine reflects the depth and distinctive character of these Columbia Valley sites. Winemakers Alex Stewart and Hal Iverson bring their considerable experience to the project, resulting in a Cabernet that is elegant, complex, and remarkably refined.
Aromas of dark plum, currant, blackberry, cocoa nib, graphite, cedar, and dusty herbs lead into a rich, full-bodied palate. Ripe tannins and integrated acidity provide structure and poise, while the finish is long, savory, and persistent.
