Marietta’s Armé Cabernet Sauvignon comes from rocky hillside terraces in Alexander Valley and the cool McDowell Valley. The 2022 is 92% Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Malbec, fermented in stainless steel and aged 20 months in neutral French oak.
Fresh and savory, with blueberry, olive tapenade, mint, sage, and floral notes. It has plenty of Cabernet structure and grippy tannins, but stays fresh and focused rather than heavy. A terrific match for steak, burgers, or mushroom risotto.
