Founded in the early 1980s by Alvaro Pecorari, Lis Neris is one of the benchmark estates of Friuli Isonzo. Based in San Lorenzo Isontino near the Slovenian border, the estate benefits from the gravelly soils and cool Adriatic influences that make this one of Italy’s great white wine regions. Pecorari transformed the family property into one of Friuli’s top producers through a focus on low yields and quality-driven farming.
Lis Neris Pinot Grigio is a richer, fuller expression of the grape, far removed from the light and simple versions many know. Offering notes of ripe pear, yellow apple, white peach, citrus zest, and subtle almond and mineral tones, it is textured and layered with bright acidity and a long, savory finish.
