Kelley Fox cut her winemaking teeth working with David Lett at Eyrie Vineyards, one of the pioneering estates of the Willamette Valley. She launched her own winery in 2007 and now makes a small amount of beautifully pure, mineral-driven Pinot Noir. Kelley ferments with native yeasts and whole clusters and uses no new oak, allowing the wines to remain as pure and unadorned as possible.
The Mirabai Pinot Noir is lithe, perfumed, and remarkably expressive, with vivid notes of wild raspberry, pomegranate, pressed roses, and orange peel. Silky and medium-bodied, it has lovely finesse, dark mineral undertones, and a long, graceful finish. It's a beautifully transparent expression of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir.
