The Russo family have been farming the vineyards of Mount Etna for many years. Today, the estate is run by founder Girolamo Russo's son Giuseppe, and it was under Giuseppe's overseeing that that they began to estate-bottle their wines. Giuseppe and his team farm 18 hectares of sea-influenced, high altitude vineyards.
Their Etna Rosato is a brilliant Nerello Mascalese. Lively notes of raspberry and wild strawberry immediately emerge from the glass, with further citrusy notes of tangerine. Beautifully savory with iodine and marine breeze, floral highlights, and crisp mineral.
