Domaine Roger Neveu Sancerre

The Neveu family calls Clos des Bouffants their home within Sancerre, and it is from here that this Sancerre Blanc is grown. South facing exposure receives ample sunshine, and the unusually steep poor and thin soil lends to an even stronger expression of the minerality that Sancerres are known for. 

Raised for 8-10 months in stainless steel, the Neveu Sancerre Blanc is an excellent wine for people looking for the more mineral driven style of Sancerre. White peach, green apple, and passion fruit all show on the fruit side of the profile. Nervy and energetic, with Meyer lemon, fresh cut herb, white flower, and flint. In the best a textbook example of classic Sancerre.
