Domaine des Ardoisieres Vin des Allobroges Blanc 'Cuvee Argile' Blanc

In the shadow of Mont Blanc sits the small estate of Domaine des Ardoisieres, one of the most exciting producers of Savoie and the world. Champagne native Brice Omont handles winemaking, and the domaine's 17 hectares are planted on steep, rocky slopes. Quite natural and minimal interventionist when it comes to winemaking, the estate is certified organic, fermented with native yeasts, and bottled with light filtration and minimal sulfur.

Cuvee Argile is 40% Jacquère, 40% Chardonnay,  and 20% Mondeuse Blanche fermented with whole clusters and native yeasts. Nervy tension & lively acidity pulse through this pure Alpine white, providing beautiful balance to the richly textured palate. Lively flavors of peach, white blossoms & green apple initially unfold, with mineral-driven notes of crushed stone and smoke emerging on the back of the palate and into the elegant finish.
