Laurent Bonneau was born in Vouvray, and he grew up in these prestigious vineyards. Today, he farms about 20 acres of Chenin Blanc, including some old vines that go into this bottling. 100% Chenin Blanc from 50+ year old vines, Laurent harvests everything by hand and ferments with native yeasts.
The finished wine has a wonderful texture and richness, no doubt due to the age of vines. Mouthwatering notes of red and yellow apple, pear, spice, and mineral are all present in this classic rendition of Vouvray. Delicious and a great value as well!
